Description:
Provides hot, nutritious meals to older adults who are unable to prepare meals for themselves either because of poor health or low income. Meals are delivered by volunteers or other local organizations.
Eligibility:
Must be Lake County seniors 60 years of age or older who are homebound.

Volunteer Opportunities:
1. Palatine Meal Pick Up - Go to office to pick up insulated food bags then go to Palatine Senior Center to pick up meals and then take them to St. Paul's United Church of Christ for distribution to meals with wheels delivery drivers.
2. Meals with Wheels Delivery Driver - Go to St. Paul's United Church of Christ and pick up one of the meal routes to be delivered to program participants.
