Description:

Provides supportive services for family caregivers of an enrolled veteran. Services include:
- Support groups
- Counseling
- Information and helplines
- Peer support

- Building Better Caregivers:
Six-week online, interactive workshop for those who are caring for a veteran with serious illness or injury. Offers training on how to provide better care, and helps caregivers learn how to manage their own emotions, stress, and physical health.
- Powerful Tools for Caregivers:
Six-week series of 90 minute, in-person classes that tackles various issues. Issues include reducing stress, enhancing communication skills and ability to make tough decisions, and locating helpful resources.

Eligibility:

Must be 18 years or older and either a veteran's spouse, child, parent, stepfamily, or extended family member OR someone who lives with an eligible veteran full time or will do so if designated as a family caregiver.
