Description:
Offers a healthcare-based violence intervention program for survivors of violent crimes. Provides up to 16 treatment sessions to help survivors heal and overcome the effects of trauma. Comprehensive services include:
- Case management
- Individual and group therapy
- Psychiatry
- Medication management
- Support and advocacy groups
- Safety and self-care guidance
Eligibility:
- Must be Lake County residents at least 10 years of age or older who were a victim of a violent crime such as domestic violence, sexual assault, or physical assault
- Trauma incident must have occurred within three years (no time limit on trauma involving homicide)
Languages:
- Spanish
- Interpreter services available
