Description:
Provides families with tools and resources to prepare children to succeed in school. Programs include:
- Kindergarten Readiness:
Assists children and their parents to develop the skills needed to start kindergarten. Children learn basic academic and socio-emotional skills. Also offers nutrition classes to help families establish healthy habits.
- Early Intervention Screenings:
Provides referrals for developmental screenings (provided by the Special Education District of Lake County).
Eligibility:
Must be families with children 3-5 years of age for Kindergarten Readiness or birth to 3 years of age for developmental screenings
