Description:

Offers transitional housing for Lake County families who are experiencing homelessness. Also provides case management services, including:
- Life skills classes
- Employment assistance
- Educational advocacy
- Financial stability

Eligibility:

- Must be a Lake County resident
- Must meet government guidelines for low-income based on family size
- Must be currently experiencing homelessness

Intake Process:

Visit website to download application or visit office during program hours. Completed applications can be mailed to the program address and are kept on file for six months.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Unit Prep Crew - Individuals or groups to assist in preparing housing units for new guest families. Tasks include cleaning and painting units. Times vary based on need.

Volunteer Maintenance Crew - Individuals or groups to assist in making minor repairs to housing units. Times vary based on need.

Volunteer Yard Maintenance Crew - Individuals or groups to care for yards, lawns, sidewalks, and driveways. Tasks include mowing, trimming, and snow removal. Times vary based on need.

Volunteer Furniture Movers - Individuals or groups with a truck or trailer willing and able to pick up, load, and unload furniture donations within Lake County. Times vary based on need. Will work around individual schedules.
