Description:
Provides monetary compensation to survivors of military personnel killed in action and burial services.
Programs include:
- Global War on Terrorism Survivors Compensation
- Vietnam Veteran Survivors Compensation
- Headstone or Grave Marker Reimbursement
- Grave Registration
- Indigent Veterans (provides burial for any honorably discharged indigent veterans and their families)
Eligibility:
Residency of 1 year in Illinois prior to entering military service is required
