Description:

Provides patients, survivors, and loved ones group support to cope with cancer diagnosis. Discussions range from topical, practical matters to emotional and spiritual struggles. Also offers spousal and family bereavement groups.

Eligibility:

Must be residents of Illinois age 18 or older who are:
- Cancer patients (including individuals who are newly diagnosed, in treatment or living with chronic or recurrent cancer)
- Cancer survivors (ranging from individuals who recently completed treatment to survivors who completed treatment within the last five years)
- Individuals with a loved one living with cancer who meets the above criteria
- Individuals who experienced the death of a loved one due to cancer within the last five years
