Description:

Provides assistance to crash victims in the State of Illinois, such as:
- Emotional support to crash victims and families
- Informal legal guidance
- Assistance with victim impact statements and victim compensation applications
- Financial assistance through the Victim Assistance Fund (established in 1991)
- Accompany victims to court
- Track case outcomes and ensure justice and rights are upheld
