Description:
Independent, individualized literacy program tutoring children in prekindergarten through grade two. One-to-one tutoring is provided during the school day. Also offers Literacy Activity Kits and Read-Aloud videos online for additional learning support.
Eligibility:
Children from Pre-K to second grade student and enrolled in District 187 or District 6
Selection for the program is based on results from student testing done at the schools

No fee.
Intake Process:
Student testing is conducted at the start of the school year with classroom teachers and will be selected based on results.

Volunteer Opportunities:
1. Volunteer Tutor - Volunteer tutors make a one half day commitment (morning or afternoon for about three hours), each week for the school year. Initial and ongoing training is provided.
