Description:
Provides a program to model appropriate, non-abusive ways of interacting with others for boys ages 8-14. The program focuses on the issues related to male children who have witnessed domestic violence.
Offers context to:
- what it means to be a man
- modeling positive interactions
- reinforcing healthy behaviors
The program is open to boys who have completed our 16-week support group program and includes field trips and fun and educational outings.

Volunteer Opportunities:
Volunteers who work directly with clients must complete a 40-hour training session in domestic violence education. A Safe Place is also currently looking for male volunteers for our mentoring program.
