Description:

Offers coverage to eligible children, adults, seniors and people with disabilities. Provides access to health care at a reasonable cost. Additional coverage includes:
- Prescriptions
- Medical equipment and transportation
- Family planning
- Laboratory tests and x-rays

Also covers dental care which includes preventive and diagnostic services.

Eligibility:

To qualify for medical assistance a person must:
- Meet financial eligibility criteria
- Be a resident of Illinois
- Be a US citizen (except for children)
