Description:
Provides assistance to Lake County veterans and their families, including:
- Processing any/all claims with Veterans Affairs (VA)
- Emergency financial assistance
- Survivor spousal benefits
- Burial benefits
Eligibility:
- Must be Lake County veterans, their spouses, widows, or children
- Must be an honorably discharged veteran or have a general discharge without misconduct
- For financial assistance program must also have some form of income

Call for appointment, visit during program hours, or apply online
Documents Required:
- Photo ID
- Proof of residence
- DD214 or other military release document
- Proof of income (for financial assistance requests)
