Description:

Assists victims of domestic violence and sexual assault with court issues. Helps file paperwork for no contact and orders of protection. Provides continued support in the courtroom and connection to legal services.

**Orders of protection can now be filed virtually. Application can be done over the phone and clients can be seen in a virtual courtroom**

Eligibility:

Must be Lake County resident and a victim of domestic violence, human trafficking, stalking, harassment, bullying, or sexual assault

- Tape, paper, envelopes, staplers, binder clips, tape, scissors, mailing labels, journals/ notebooks

Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Court Advocate Volunteer - advocates and assists survivors of domestic violence with paperwork and court process of obtaining a restraining order.
