Description:

Provides housing vouchers for income-eligible residents of North Chicago. Housing vouchers may be used in the private market and are not limited to public housing units.

Also administers Veterans Affairs Supportive Housing (VASH) vouchers in collaboration with the VA. Participants are able to choose any housing that meets the requirements of the program. Housing options include single-family homes, townhouses, and apartments.

Eligibility:

- Must be North Chicago residents with household income at or below 50% of the median county income
- Must pass a criminal background check

- Vouchers are limited in availability. Waitlist will open/close intermittently - call for information.
