Description:

Provides referrals to local tobacco quit assistance services. Clients enrolled in the program are eligible for free Nicotine Replacement Therapy (patches, gum, or lozenges)

Also offers tobacco education and prevention for community organizations, schools, businesses, and individuals to:

- Discourage the initiation of tobacco use
- Assist tobacco users who want to quit
- Help understand tobacco free ordinances and policies
- Brochures, fact sheets, and posters

Eligibility:

- Individuals who have a desire to be tobacco-free.
- Clients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Must live or work in Lake County, IL.

Spanish
Interpreter services available upon request

Program Fees:

No fee. Clients enrolled in the quit smoking counseling may be eligible to receive discounted Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT).
