Bus services does not operate on major holidays.
Description:
Offers reservation-based, curb-to-curb bus service for Ela Township seniors and individuals with disabilities. Offers transportation for medical appointments, personal care, and errands within the Ela Township boundaries. Makes exceptions for travel to the following locations outside township boundaries:
- Barrington train station
- Good Shepherd Hospital
- Doctor's offices in the surrounding area
NOTE: Drivers cannot assist riders getting to, from, on, or off the bus.
Eligibility:
Must be Ela Township residents 55 years of age or older or individuals with a disability

- Polish
Program Fees:
Set Program Fee:
- $2.00 one-way trip
- $4.00 round trip
- $1.00 for one additional stop
Riders must pay in cash with exact change.
Intake Process:
Call or email to schedule a ride at least 24 hours in advance
