The mission of Christian Outreach of Lutherans (COOL) is to give comprehensive assistance to families in need, by reducing hunger and homelessness, while encouraging personal growth and self-sufficiency. Serving all of Lake County.

Eligibility:

Applicants must have children in their custody, Homeless by HUD standards, and be employed full time.

English and Spanish

Program Fees:

The Transitional Housing Case Manager will discuss all fees with guest family.

Intake Process:

Applications must be turned in to the Transitional Housing Case Manager prior to either a phone or in person interview.
Applications are available at the COOL Office at
127 West Water Street Waukegan, IL, 60085 or at the COOL Food Pantry East at 123 West Water Street Waukegan, IL, 60085 and also online at www.coolministries.org under "Our Ministries" tab.
