Youth and Family Treatment Recovery Enhancement and Expansion Project
Description:
Offers comprehensive treatment, early intervention, and recovery support services to transitional-aged youth struggling with substance use disorders and/or mental health disorders. Also provides education and support services to their families or caregivers. Services include:
-Substance abuse and mental health treatment
-Health insurance enrollment
-Family/Caregiver education and socialization
-Recovery activities
-Trauma-informed programming
-Information and referrals to community resources and more.
Eligibility:
-Must be 18-25 years old.
-Must be a Lake County resident.
-Must have a substance use disorder and/or co-occurring substance use and mental health disorder.
-At least one family member/community support member must participate with the individual in specified group sessions.
-Individual must be available to participate in a 3-month and 6-month follow-up interview.
