Description:

Police departments refer juvenile offenders in order to address the cause of their offense, change their behavior, and reduce recidivism in the future.

Eligibility:

-Must be 10-17 years old or 18 years old and still in high school.
-Offense must have been committed in Lake County.
-Both child and parent/guardian must agree to fully participate.
-Offenses for felonies or traffic issues are not eligible to participate.

Program Fees:

Set Program Fee: $50 one-time fee.

Intake Process:

Referral required from Round Lake Beach Police, Round Lake Police, Round Lake Heights Police, Round Lake Park Police, Fox Lake Police, Wauconda Police, Lakemoor Police, Gurnee Police, Waukegan Police, North Chicago Police, Winthrop Harbor Police, Zion Police, and Lake County Sheriff.

Documents required:
-Referrals from police must come with a completed police report.
