Description:

Provides seniors and people with disabilities curb-to-curb transportation to work, shopping, medical appointments, and others.


*As a reservation-based program, vehicles do not travel on a fixed route each day. Riders schedule trips in advance and the vehicles provide curb-to-curb service. Ride Lake County is a shared-ride service, so vehicles may make stops for other passengers. Before scheduling their ride, residents must register through Pace by calling their call center at 1-800-201-6446.*

Eligibility:

Must be a Senior (Age 60+) or an individual with a disability.
Riders under age 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Program Fees:

Set program fee:
- $2.00 each way for trips under 5 miles
- $4.00 each way for trips between 5 and 10 miles
- $6.00 each way for trips over 10 miles

Intake Process:

Call during administrative hours to register or schedule a ride - Reservations may be made 7 days in advance for work, medical appointments and College of Lake County trips. Call at least 24 hours in advance. If cancelling a ride, please provide at least 2 hours notice.
