Kindergarten Countdown Camp
Description:
Free summer school program for children entering kindergarten with little to no preschool experience. Students adjust to the classroom setting, practice following directions, rules, and key kindergarten skills such as recognizing shapes, letters, counting and writing their names. Program runs June 3 - July 1, 2024. Taught by licensed teachers.
**Program dates change annually.
Eligibility:
- Must be enrolled in the Waukegan School District
- Must be entering kindergarten in the upcoming school year and have little to no preschool experience
