Devices may include lock boxes, safes, cable locks, and trigger locks. Programs may also reduce firearm access to individuals in crisis or at risk of suicide through a voluntary temporary transfer of firearms to an offsite storage facility such as a local law enforcement agency, licensed retailer, or other secure location.
