Description:
Offers tools and resources to assist individuals with developmental disabilities look for employment. Matches clients with potential employers to fit their interests and needs. Designs goals and plans based on each individual's abilities. Also assists clients with the job search process.
Also offers Career Academy classes for an hour of employment discussion and tutorials. Topics include:
- Advocacy
- Grooming/Attire
- Professionalism
- Phone Etiquette
- First Impressions
- Interview Prep/Communication
- Managing Relationships/Boundaries
- Conflict Resolution
- Work/Life Balance
- Safety
- Natural Supports
- Digital Literacy
