Description:
Offers bilingual (English/Spanish) education and support services to families with children under age 5. Helps clients enhance their ability to provide and advocate for their families. Strengthens parental knowledge and skills, and reduces isolation. Services include:
- Developmental screening
- Family planning education
- Parenting support
- Home visits by a trained support worker
- Support groups for grandparents raising grandchildren
- Referrals to health care providers, community services, and collaborating agencies
Eligibility:
Must be families or caregivers with children birth to 5 years old who are Lake County residents
