Description:

Offers financial assistance to help individuals prevent eviction or past due rent or utility disconnection (gas, electric, or water). Applications are processed in accordance with the standards and guidelines approved by the Department of Public Aid and Township Board.

Eligibility:

Must reside in Warren Township for at least 6 months.
Must exhibit and document financial hardship.
Must be able to show ongoing ability to pay after assistance is granted.

Intake Process:

Call for an appointment or visit during program hours.

- Photo ID (State issued ID, birth certificate).
- Social Security cards of all household members.
- Copy of rental, lease, or mortgage agreement.
- Utility bills
- Proof of income
- Eviction or disconnection notice, if applicable.
- Citizenship papers (if applicable)
