Description:

Provides government-owned rental housing for eligible families, the elderly, and persons with disabilities.

The Waukegan Housing Authority has closed its Public Housing Family Site Waitlist effective May 15th, 2023 for all studios and 1 bedroom units. The Waukegan Housing Authority is no longer accepting any Public Housing applications.

Eligibility:

- Must be a Waukegan resident
- Low-income families and individuals as determined by HUD
- Older adults who are 62 or older
- People with disabilities
