Provides Moraine Township residents assistance with $400 towards monthly basic living expenses such as rent, utilities, & food.

Eligibility:

You may be eligible for General Assistance if you are unemployed and actively seeking employment, or are currently awaiting a decision on a social security disability claim. Applicants must meet state-mandated qualifications.

Intake Process:

- Proof of residency
- Mortgage payments
- Proof of income from the past 2 months before application
- Birth certificates and Social Security Card for each member in the household
- Valid ID for each member in the household over 16
- Unemployment Records
- Records of Social Security Benefits
- Copy of applications to other agencies
- Bank account records
- Vehicle titles/Registration
- Marriage Licenses/Death Certificates
- Physician Statements
- All utility bills
