Provides monthly financial assistance to eligible residents to help with basic living expenses. The maximum amount of monthly benefits will depend on the size of assistance unit, who is in the assistance unit, and income.

Documents Required:
- Drivers license or State ID
- Social security card for everyone in the household
- Documentation from the Illinois Department of Human Services (if applicable)
- Documentation from Social Security Administration or the Department of Unemployment (if applicable)
- Current checking and savings account statement or copies of receipts or money orders that paid your bills for the past 30 days
- Pay stubs for the past 30 days
- Lease with landlord's name, address and phone number
- Current mortgage statement (if applicable)
- Doctors note stating that you cannot work (if disabled)
- Medical and doctor's records stating your medical condition
- Proof that you have applied for either SSI or SSD
- Marriage or divorce papers
