Description:
Provides hot, nutritious meals to older adults who are unable to prepare meals for themselves either because of poor health or low income. Meals are delivered by volunteers.
Eligibility:
Must be Lake County seniors 60 years of age or older who are homebound.
If client has Blue Cross/Blue Shield or Meridian insurance, clients must contact the insurance first and be referred to Catholic Charities Meals on Wheels.
Languages:
Interpreter services available upon request.
Program Fees:
No fee
Intake Process:
Call for services. Referral required from Blue Cross/Blue Shield or Meridian managed care, if client has those insurances.
