Description:

Provides a transitional, residential facility that offers life skills training for youth to gain independence. Services include:
- Case management
- Individual and family counseling
- Drug and alcohol treatment through community referral
- Psychiatric assessment
- High school diploma or GED preparation
- Assistance in college or trade school enrollment
- Vocational opportunities
- Assistance in seeking employment
- Budgeting and money-management training
- Conflict resolution and anger management counseling

Eligibility:

Must be young men ages 17-21 years old.
Must be referred by Illinois Department of Corrections, Illinois Department of Children and Family Services, and various county probation departments

Become a Mentor! The young men (17 - 22) who live at Rebound in Waukegan would greatly benefit from a positive male role model to give them hope and a vision of a better future. Rebound is a community-based alternative to incarceration.
