Description:

Offers short-term counseling services to families. Services help clients recover from the following:

- Depression
- Anxiety
- Substance abuse issues (higher levels of care may be required based on dependency)
- Impact of separation and divorce for children
- Grief/loss
- Parenting and family conflict
- Changes in mood or self-care
- School avoidance
- Peer conflict and social skills
- Attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD)

Services can also include group counseling and parenting workshops.

Eligibility:

- Families with children birth to 18 years old; young adults ages 18-25 may be eligible depending on the previous history of services with the Township and type of problems.
- Must be a Warren Township resident for counseling services. (Workshops, groups, and other services are available to non-residents)

Program Fees:

No fee for the first session; $15 per session thereafter.
Sliding scale fee based on hardship or lack of funds.

Intake Process:

Call or visit website for intake interview or form. It may take a couple of weeks to begin services, depending on the client's availability and assignation of a therapist.
