Description:
Offers $2000 reduction in a property's Equalized Assessed Value to persons with disabilities. Offered in combination with General Homestead Exemption and Senior Homestead Exemption. Cannot be combined with disabled veterans exemptions. Veterans should choose the exemption that is most beneficial to them.
Eligibility:
To qualify, applicants must:
- Own or have a legal or equitable interest in the property
- Have lived on the property on or before January 1st of the tax year
- Be disabled under the Federal Social Security Act

- Proof of Railroad or Civil Service disability benefits
