Description:

Provides a 24-hour hotline for victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Provides the following services for women and their children in the Asian-American community:
- Crisis intervention
- Transitional housing program
- Counseling and support groups
- Legal advocacy
- Case management
- Children's Program

Eligibility:

- Open to female survivors of domestic violence or sexual assault, and their children
- Supports the Asian-American community

Languages:

- Korean
- Mandarin
- Interpreter services available

Volunteer Opportunities:

1. Direct Service Volunteer Opportunity: Answering HOTLINE, providing crisis intervention, mentoring or tutoring with a 40 hours training.
2. Community Education & Outreach Volunteer Opportunity: Help write a column on gender-based violence issues, join at community events, help outreach, maintain the library.
3. Design & Marketing Volunteer Opportunity: Help maintain the website and other visual needs and develop materials, brochures, posters, etc.
4. Fundraising and Other: Help plan and coordinate the annual benefit dinner and other fundraising events, research funding resources or write a grant, and ask family and friends to support the mission.
