Description:
Provides qualifying households with monetary relief for their energy bills. Clients may receive a one time payment for utility bills
Eligibility:
Must be Lake County resident and meet the following income guidelines:

2 $3,052
3 $3,838
4 $4,625
5 $5,412
6 $6,198
7 $6,985
*Additional fees per person for families with 8 people or more

Program Fees:
No fee.
Intake Process:
Call Community Action Partnership to schedule an appointment.
Documents required:
- Photo ID
- Proof of income for the last 30 days
- Social Security cards for all household members
- Current utility bill
- Copy of rental agreement (if renting) showing that utilities are included, the monthly rental amount, and landlord contact information
- Proof of benefits if receiving assistance from the Illinois Department of Human Services
