Description:

Provides opportunities, classes, and programming that target the physical health and mental well-being of the individuals served. Offers increased self-motivation and social interaction techniques in a forum for individuals to challenge themselves and explore activities in a safe, enjoyable and structured environment that promotes:

- Team involvement,
- Good sportsmanship
- Social skills. These programs create a healthy, fun and challenging environment.

The recreational activities offered include:
- A movie theater
- A game room
- A fitness center with equipment specifically designed for children and adults with disabilities
- A pool with a wheelchair lift

Note: Special Olympics training programs also available. Offers nine sports, where individuals are encouraged to increase their performance abilities while improving their health and wellness.

Eligibility:

Must be a Lake County resident who is 22 years or older with a disability
