Description:
Responds to reports of neglect or abuse of elderly or adults with disabilities. Neglect may include neglect by another, or self-neglect. Abuse may include financial, physical, sexual or psychological abuse.
Eligibility:
Suspected abuse or neglect related to adults 60 years and older, or adults with disabilities age 18-59

Intake Process:
Call to report suspected abuse. If abuse is taking place in a licensed residential or long-term care facility, call the Illinois Department of Public Health's Nursing Home Complaint Hotline or Supportive Living Facilities Complaint Hotline.
